One ministry,two nations

Gospel OnFire works in both the United States and Pakistan. We are a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit, and our purpose is simple: to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ, together with real, practical help, to people who have been forgotten.

In Pakistan we work across the Punjab and Sindh alongside our field partner, Harvest Hands Ministries Pakistan. We set families free from slavery at the brick kilns. We give water filters and a Holy Bible to the families still waiting, and build washrooms and bathrooms for them. We show the Jesus Film all over the Punjab, teach women a trade at our sewing centres, run children's clubs in the villages, and plant twenty-five new home churches every month.

Where the name comes from

On the roadto Emmaus

On the day He rose from the dead, two of His followers were walking out to a village called Emmaus, talking over everything that had happened that week. Jesus came alongside them on the road, and they did not know who He was. He walked with them the whole way and opened up the Scriptures to them, and only when He sat down and broke bread did they see Him for who He was.

“Back and forth they talked. ‘Didn’t we feel on fire as he conversed with us on the road, as he opened up the Scriptures for us?’”

Luke 24:32 · The Message

That is where the name comes from. When the Scriptures are opened to somebody who has never heard them, something catches. We have watched it happen in courtyards, at the brick kilns, and in villages where the Jesus Film is shown after dark.

What we hold to

Four things wewill not move on

01

The Word goes with the help

A water filter comes with a Holy Bible. Freedom from the kiln comes with a home church. We believe the filter cleans the water, but the Holy Bible cleans the soul, so we never give one without the other.

The Word goes with the help

Every believer is cared for

Every person who comes to Christ is connected with a pastor or disciple and a home church, so they can keep growing in faith.

Every believer is cared for
04

Nothing is sold

Bibles, filters, washrooms, sewing skills and help at the kilns are all given freely. The people who most need them are the people who could never pay.

Nothing is sold

Freely ye have received,freely give

How it grew

From one villageto twenty-five areas

First

A single village, a single family

One household opened their home for believers to meet, and the work grew from there.

Then

The Jesus Film, after dark

The life of Jesus, shown in the language people speak at home. The film has now been shown in villages all over the Punjab.

Next

The brick kilns

We met families trapped for generations by debt at the kilns, and began the work of setting them free.

Then

Water, washrooms and the Word

Water filters with a Holy Bible for kiln families in the Punjab and Sindh, and pumps, washrooms and bathrooms built for them.

And

Sewing centres and vocational training

Support for Joyful Hands Sewing Center, and our own Adelaide's Sewing Academy, where a new class graduates every two months. Adult vocational training has grown out of the same work.

And

Children's clubs

Two-hour clubs in the villages, with our own year-long curriculum, teaching children to read and to learn Scripture by heart.

Now

Twenty-five new home churches planted every month

Pastors and disciples cover twenty-five areas across the Punjab and into Sindh, and the work now reaches Lahore as well.

Our founder

Kevin Eichhorn

Founder & Chairman, Gospel OnFire

Kevin Eichhorn founded Gospel OnFire and serves as its chairman. He carries the vision of the ministry and travels to Pakistan to stand with the families and pastors himself — in the water at baptisms, at the brick kilns, at the sewing centre graduations and in the villages where the Jesus Film is shown.

His heart is simple: that people who have been forgotten would hear the Gospel, be set free, and have what they need to live with dignity.

Our leaders
